An interesting area for a writer… Some people just don’t get your books, some people actively hate them and some love them. I write these stories for you guys and myself, because we love Lancelot and his family. For others who don’t know our world, this is what other people think via email and mostly Amazon. I want to say thank you to everyone who supports indie authors and leaves reviews – it matters and without positive criticism we writers can’t improve.
I was magnetically drawn into another world and the story played before me like a film reel in my head. The character of Lancelot, a man of strength and honour, engaged me from the start and had me rooting for him throughout his trials and ordeals, willing him on to succeed in his mission. The dark nature of the piece mesmerised and compelled me to read on. The complex relationships at the root of Knight and King, and magic enchanted. I want more.
I dont normally do this kind of thing but after reading your Knights of Camelot series I felt I needed to. I have just finished reading the last book Lancelot and the Grail. It was great. I downloaded the first book on the off chance last week and to my delight you have written another two – o happy day !!!!. Ive ended up having read all three in one week. Your second lancelot book i read in one night from about 8 o clock in the evening till about two in the morning. I have completely and utterley fallen in love with the world of Camelot and all the people in it. I have to say i nearly fell off my bed when i realised what was happening between Arthur and Lancelot, it freaked me out i have to admit, but i was intrigued at the same time. As the story went on I think i started understanding this bond that they have and how strong it is supposed to be and ho it has developed over years so that they can share all these relationship s simultaneously almost- friends , lovers , brothers in arms . Sorry if i am droning on. Apologies!!
I just want to say i have truly enjoyed reading The Knights of Camelot series and cannot wait for the next book. Thank you for having such an inspirational imagination and sharing it with your fans through your books.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading these two books, “LANCELOT AND THE WOLF” and “LANCELOT AND THE SWORD”. I am a great Knights of the Round Table fan and although this is a completely new take on the tale – it works, as all the well known parts and charactors of the original story are included and as it is mostly legend and myth, whos to say whats true or false. The only jarring bit for me was the up-to-date swear words which jolted me out of the story each time they were used, far to modern for a story of that long ago. Otherwise i found it very hard to put the books down and now eagerly await the release of the third part of the series “LANCELOT AND THE GRAIL”
I didn’t like this twisted version of Arthurian legend – not into homosexual love scenes in the books I read – it probably should have come with some sort of heads-up on that I think.
(This one made me giggle…)
